Born and raised in Holland, I took the scenic route through Curaçao before finding my true home here in St. Maarten, a place I’ve been visiting since I was seven years old—so often that immigration probably wondered if I lived here already. With family on the island and more than ten childhood trips under my belt, St. Maarten became my second home long before it became my permanent one. What hooked me? The culture, the food, the good vibes, the party scene, the killer views, the blue-as-blue-gets ocean, the picture-perfect beaches, and the island’s warm, friendly spirit.
